Update

It's been a few weeks since I've updated.  I've repotted into 3" pots and they are doing pretty well.  This morning I added the stakes.  They are currently getting 16 hours of light per day along with 2 hours of fan time to make them stronger.

Repotted the lemon and lime trees

Day #8

After 1 day under the lights the seedlings are standing upright towards the light.

Day #7

All seeds have successfully sprouted.  They will now be under 16 hours of light per day until ready to go outside.

Day #5

Today I gave them some light.  They are definitely liking the light and I can see activity in almost all of the seedlings.

Fruit Trees

This past weekend I went to the home and garden show up in Del Mar.  I got the idea to do patio fruit trees from a vendor there.  While there I received a coupon for a complimentary rose plant at evergreen nursery.  I also picked up a dwarf Meyer lemon tree and a Bearss lime tree.  Both in 5 gallon pots and probably about 2 years old.  I am going to repot them this weekend.  Both are full of flowers and smell pretty amazing.

Day #4 - As you can see the sprouts are coming up real quick.  These are the Pink Brandywine tomato and there is some activity in the soil in a few of the peppers and also the Cherry tomato.

Day #1 I've added the seeds into the starter pellets and placed the tray on a heat mat.  The heat mat will stay on until I put them under the lights.  Note that the light is not on yet, just set up.
